Douglas Adams PT, DPT, SCS, OCS, CSCS
Doug is a Physical Therapist who graduated from Auburn University with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and then completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008 from the University of Delaware. He went on to complete a sports residency at the University of Delaware, becoming a Board Certified Specialist. He owns and treats patients at his endurance specialty clinic Omega Project PT, and is also active in their residency and research programs.
Doug's interests in Physical Therapy include Runners, ACLs, Swimmer's Shoulder, and Leadership/mentorship. He has lectured on these topics locally, nationally, and internationally, as well as published on ACLs and wearable running devices. Doug lives in Wilmington, DE with his wife Devon, daughter Avery, son Grayson and their yellow lab Riley. Doug has competed nationally in triathlons for 17 years and is also a Running/Triathlon Coach. Doug is the co-founder of a continuing education company called the Association of Clinical Excellence as well as the creator of a portable 3D Motion Analysis system called Trace 3D.
